VOLUNTEERING

at YBES

Youth’s Benefit Elementary Volunteer Expectations:

• Be on time and volunteer between the hours of 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
• Sign in at the office and get a volunteer badge. Include physical location with sign-in.
• Leave other siblings at home in order to give your full attention to the job at hand.
• Help all the students follow the classroom and lunchroom rules.
• Be willing to volunteer for any task (administrative and/or working with children).
• Be aware of hygiene procedures for handling blood and other bodily fluids.
• Keep all information observed confidential.
• If supporting with lunch, you will be in the cafeteria.
• If supporting a teacher/grade level, you will be working in the grade level planning room.
• Please do not visit children in other locations while volunteering.

A paper contract is located in the front office.  You may be asked to sign the agreement when volunteering.
